A Magical Day in a Magical Place

Congratulations on getting married! Could you tell us about the most exciting part of your beautiful wedding day?
Seeing each other for the first time at the end of the aisle.
What was your favourite moment? That is, if you're able to choose just one!
The ceremony is definitely one of our favourite memories. It was full of love thanks to our amazing celebrant, Megan Thompson, and the magical Jess from Paper Hearts. The elm tree was a dream location overlooking the vineyard. It was also the perfect spot for guests to relax after the ceremony as we took photos right next to the lounge/reception space.
Were there any unexpected surprises on the day?
That the sun came out after worrying about rain all week!
Music really can create the perfect atmosphere – what were some of the songs you chose to feature in your special day?
We walked down the aisle to Universe by Kelsea Ballerini and our first dance was to Desire by Ryan Adams.
Do you have any advice for future couples? Anything that would make the day extra-special?
Focus on what's most important to you as a couple and make decisions together.
Is there anything else you would like to add about your magical wedding day?
Lancemore Macedon Ranges was the perfect venue for us. Coming from the Macedon Ranges ourselves, it was really important to have our wedding somewhere local to showcase the beautiful landscape (which made for some pretty amazing photos!). We liked being able to both get ready in different spaces on site. Many of our guests also chose to stay and have breakfast with us the next day.
