Lancemore HotelForTrees MC 15

Lancemore Group is proud to have joined Hotels for Trees - a not-for-profit initiative with a beautifully simple idea at its heart. Skip your daily room refresh during your stay, and a tree is planted on your behalf in one of the foundation's reforestation projects around the world. One tag on your door handle, one tree in the ground - and a stay that gives a little back to the places worth travelling for.

Rooted in Melbourne.

Crossley St. is our home city hotel, built by Melburnians, for those who want the best of Melbourne. That commitment doesn't stop at the laneway. The same care we take in showing guests the city goes into caring for the city and surrounds itself, and every skipped clean is a small act of it: a native tree planted somewhere in Victoria - the Mornington Peninsula, the You Yangs, Geelong, Ballarat - putting habitat back for the koalas, kookaburras and rosellas that were here long before the laneways.

To mark the 500-tree milestone, Rooms Division Manager Iryna, Director of Sales Margie and General Manager Anand swapped the dazzling hotel lobby for a shovel and spent a morning planting alongside local volunteers in Port Melbourne.

This is one way we give something back to the place we call home.

How a small change can grow a forest.

One stay plants a tree, while events plant a forest. With every Lancemore hotel now part of Hotels for Trees, hosting your event with us multiplies the good. A two-day conference or wedding can quietly plant a small grove; a season of gatherings, something closer to a forest. The same considered venues, food and service - now with a footprint that gives back.

About Hotels for Trees.

Hotels for Trees is an independent not-for-profit foundation, established in the Netherlands in May 2021, with separate entities now established in Australia and North America. It isn't linked to any country, brand, hotel chain, hotel size or star rating - today it works with 294 hotels across 32 countries, supporting 53 planting projects. The foundation is headed by a board of three and overseen by a Supervisory Board, and all donations are spent on reforestation projects and on running and growing the initiative.

Every tree is counted, and every hotel's total is published on the Hotels for Trees website - including ours.
