The door hanger
During a stay, guests hang the Hotels for Trees door hanger outside their room for one or multiple days.
A More Considered Way to Stay
Our hotels are shaped by their surroundings. From the way we operate to the partners we choose, we are making considered changes to reduce our impact and care for the places we are apart of and choose to call home.
One skipped clean. One new tree.
Lancemore Group has joined Hotels for Trees, an independent not-for-profit foundation established in May 2021. During your stay, hang the Hotels for Trees hanger on your door for one or more days. Housekeeping skip the clean, and record one tree.
Every skipped clean saves water, energy and laundering, and for each one, Lancemore makes a contribution to Hotels for Trees, who plant a tree through their reforestation partners. Every tree is counted, and every hotel's total is published on the Hotels for Trees website.
Hotels for Trees
During a stay, guests hang the Hotels for Trees door hanger outside their room for one or multiple days.
Housekeeping note the hanger, skip cleaning the room, and enter one tree into the Hotels for Trees portal.
Once entered, the total number of trees planted is displayed on the Hotels for Trees website for each hotel and each day.
Hotels for Trees tallies every skipped clean and plants a tree for each one.
The concept is easy for guests and for hotels: hang the hanger if you would like to skip room cleaning.
Guests who take part can already see the impact of their action on the Hotels for Trees website the next day.
Nothing here is hidden. For every room that skips a clean, Lancemore makes a contribution to Hotels for Trees - who then plant a tree.
