How do I apply for a position?

You can apply for a role by clicking on the “Apply” button next to each vacancy listed on our Job Search page. Searching for positions is easy, we have listed all current opportunities by property. Once you have found a position you are interested in download the Job Description. Make sure you review this thoroughly to see if your experience suits the position. If you’re confident you fit the bill, then click “Apply”. This will generate an auto-email and we will need you to attach a covering letter and your resume.
 

Will I receive a response to my application?

You will receive an email to confirm we have received your application. If you are successful in proceeding to the shortlist stage of our recruitment process, we will make contact to discuss the next steps and to organise a time for an interview. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, there may be a delayed period of time until you are contacted. We will endeavour to be in contact with you as soon as possible. If you are unsuccessful, you will also receive an email notification of our decision. 
 

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes, as long as you choose positions that match your skills, experience and career ambitions.
 

Can I register my details for future opportunities?

Yes, you can send us your resume for reference and consideration as opportunities arise across the Lancemore Group. Simply email info@lancemore.com.au and we will be in touch.
 

Who will see my details and resume?

Only those people who are directly involved in your recruitment process will have access to view your resume and personal details.
 

Do I have to be a permanent resident or citizen to apply for a job?

If you are not a permanent resident or citizen of Australia, you will need to provide proof of your working rights (a clear colour copy of the photo page of your passport and visa documents). If you are successful through the interview process and your working rights have been confirmed, we would love to consider you for opportunities that are in line with the working conditions on your visa.

Do I have to complete a food safety or handling course?

Yes, all our food handlers complete a food safety / handling awareness session during their orientation. In addition, if you have a food handling certificate, then please let us know.
 

Will I have to complete or pass any tests as part of the recruitment or induction process?

A number of different tests, quizzes and assessments may feature during the recruitment and induction process depending on the role.
 

How long will the recruitment process take before a decision is made?

Our recruitment process will vary from one position to the next. We will try to keep you as informed as possible at all stages of the process. You can check the status of your application at anytime by emailing info@lancemore.com.au
 

How can I prepare for an interview?

The questions we ask in your interviews will be specific to the position you have applied for. Be prepared for questions which ask you to explain your functional and technical skills. We also use behavioural interviewing questions where you will be asked to provide examples of how you have demonstrated competencies in your previous roles that relate to the advertised position. When answering these questions make sure you talk about a specific situation. Start by describing the task that you needed to complete, explain the action you took step-by-step, and then tell us the result or outcome of that situation.
 

What happens after the interview?

Whether you are successful or not, you will receive honest feedback as quickly as possible from a member of the recruitment team.
 

Will I need to provide referees?

Yes, as part of the selection process you will be asked to provide at least two referees who we can can contact by phone. It's preferable these referees currently are, or have recently been, your direct manager/supervisor. References will only be conducted by our recruitment team once you have given permission for your nominated referees to be contacted.
 

Will you conduct background checks?

A background check may be required for certain positions.
 

How safe is the information I am providing?

The Lancemore Group employs strict privacy policies in full accordance with Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to your personal information at any time.
 

Do you offer relocation packages or support?

We may offer support but this is dependent upon the role and eligibility of the candidate.
